Spessarite are an amazing, rare gemstone discovered in the mid 1800’s. Not as rare as Tsavorite but just as beautiful and generally have less inclusions. Golden orange to Redish browns.

Originally found in the mid 1800’s in Bavaria it’s continued its popularity among the Garnet lovers over the decades as its deep, yet translucent colours are a prize find. Not the rarest Garnet but certainly not a gemstone you commonly find.
