This attractive 1.78 carat natural Tanzanite displays a Strong Blue Violet colour with a blue-dominant face-up appearance and distinct violet undertones. Its near-square cushion shape, balanced proportions and lively facet pattern create an appealing gemstone with a substantial presence for its weight.
Assessed as SI1 clarity and AA quality, the gemstone contains a small cluster of dark pinpoint inclusions beneath the central-to-upper-right table area. These features are visible in enlarged photographs but are considerably less prominent during normal viewing. The Very Good Cushion Cut produces attractive blue-violet flashes, although moderate dark areas appear at certain angles. No persistent window or chip was confirmed, making this stone suitable for a pendant, protected dress ring or bespoke jewellery design.
