This 0.97 carat natural Tanzanite displays an appealing medium blue-violet colour with a blue-dominant character. Its heart-shaped outline has a distinctive asymmetrical appearance, with flashes of violet and blue becoming visible as the gemstone moves.
The stone has SI2 clarity due to a sizeable feather beneath the upper-right crown, near the 2–3 o’clock position, which appears to approach the girdle. Transparency remains good away from this feature, although the Fair cut, unequal lobes and off-centre cleft produce uneven brilliance and face-up balance. No genuine window or chips were confirmed. This Tanzanite is best suited to a pendant or carefully protected bespoke design rather than an engagement or regular-wear ring.
